Best sugar cookies you will ever make guaranteed. Don’t substitute, use real butter, flour and sugar!

· Eggs: Eggs act as a binder, which means they help hold the batter together.
· Sugar: Makes everything taste delicious.
· Baking Soda: Leavening (rising) agent to make them fluffy.
· Salt: Enhances the overall flavor.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • **1/4 cup multicolored sprinkles**
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar for rolling

Cooking Instructions

Temperature: 350 Degrees

Time: 11-13 Minutes

Line cookie sheets with parchment paper; set aside

In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream together butter and sugar until pale and fluffy (5+ Mins). Scrape down the sides of the bowl and add egg and vanilla; beat until fluffy.

In a small bowl mix together dry ingredients( flour, baking soda, and salt) before adding to the wet ingredients. Beat on low speed until just starting to come together. **Add in the sprinkles until combined**.

Scoop 3 TBSP portions out and roll dough in granulated sugar before placing onto baking sheets. Leave at least 1.5 to 2 inches between each cookie.

Bake for 11-13 minutes or until the tops are beginning to crackle and the edges are a light golden color.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool for at least five minutes before devouring.
